Two Ravens
Odin cannot see it all,
He sends the ravens to the call.
Every morning, wings take flight,
Soaring through awakened light.
Hugin flies ahead, so fast,
Thoughts that never cease to last.
Munin follows, slow and deep,
Memories that never sleep.
Refrain:
Thoughts fly far across the sky,
Memories linger, never die.
They return with whispers low,
Fate that only ravens know.
What remains when memories fade?
What’s a god without his shade?
They hear the words left unspoken,
Secrets kept and trust been broken.
Flying over time and space,
Tracing every hidden place.
Hugin restless, sharp and bright,
Munin silent as the darkest night.
Two wings beating through the storm,
Bearing tales from past reborn
Old gods watch from ancient thrones,
Truth that echoes in our bones.
If the ravens cease to speak,
Darkness falls, the future bleak.
Refrain:
Thoughts fly far across the sky,
Memories linger, never die.
They return with whispers low,
Fate that only ravens know.
What remains when memories fade?
What’s a god without his shade?
